Map of Calvia, centered on the Calle de Major.

Calvià is a municipality of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It is located on the island of Mallorca, in the western Mediterranean Sea. It adjoins with the municipality of Palma, and due to new major road connections now in place, is no more than 15 minutes from the city centre of Palma.

Calvià is one of the wealthiest municipalities in Europe, with a number of wealthy residents. The area is also a host to many of Mallorca's major tourism hotspots, with the localities of Magaluf, Santa Ponsa and Palma Nova all located in this municipality.

Magaluf is renowned as a popular 'party destination'; the former largest night club in Europe, BCM, is located in Magaluf. There are also a number of other large night clubs located on "the Strip", giving Magaluf somewhat of a resemblance to other destinations such as Ibiza.

The 2004 World Chess Olympiad was held in Calvià.
